I just picked this one up two weeks ago and I was very impressed. There is more than enough info to either sprinkle or saturate your campaign with. My players are currently headed down into the Underdark (playing in FR) but there were some nice bits I think I can use, the Myconoids for sure.

So what are your thoughts? Please use specifics to back up your statements.

I haven't seen the book yet.

About Myconids though..............I've fought those and am running an adventure this weekend that has them. They can be a serious pain and can cause big problems. Great to see you using them! They are a pain, but a lot of fun for the DM.

I got a copy of it for being a DM at DDXP, and I've perused it some on the way home. It looks really cool! I like the monsters and the encounters in it. I'm thining about making up an Underdark campaign where the PCs are all drow, perhaps from an exiled house that is planning on making their return.

That sounds like a WICKED hook! I would love you play as an all Drow group. I don't know if you read the series on the War of the Spider Queen, but that was exactly what it was, a group of all Drow adventurers seeking out why Lolth was silent. I was a fantastic story, I've wanted to re-create it somehow, but never have the time.
